A new blog for Randomness

I've decided to start blogging to keep track of my life. We'll see if I stick to it. I've got a bazillions things going on these days. I haven't been to work in weeks, shame on me. But the kids are out of school and all I want to do is hang out by the lake. The lake is the country club in my town. We have a small lake that is equipped with all kinds of floating fun, a log roller, a floating trampoline, a couple of slides, and a few floating islands/docks to hang out on. Pretty much everybody we know are members, and it's a big social gathering. It seems like every weekend we are bbq'ing here with friends. I like to bring the kids almost every day because it gets them out of the house, away from the tv and outside playing with friends instead of nagging me that they're bored. Ted and I will be attending his friend, Cesar's, wedding in a couple of weeks in the Dominican Republic. We aren't taking the kids and this will be our first tropical vacation since our honeymoon seven years ago. Needless to say, we are very excited. I've recently made the decision to have a breast reduction surgery. I've always been large chested and self conscious about it. After years of back and neck pain along with the inability to wear a lot of styles, I've finally decided that it is time. I went for a consult with a plastic surgeon last week and my insurance will cover the costs since it is medically necessary. My surgery is scheduled for August 14th, which is Ted's 35th birthday. We will be back from the DR and we will have just returned from The River Regatta in Laughlin. That's it for today, maybe more later.
